New research report: brussels sprouts study

Last summer, Olivia Saunders (field specialist, Carroll County) and Becky Sideman (state specialist) collaborated on an experiment that studied several varieties of brussels sprouts and also evaluated the effects of topping the plants.

We included several varieties, ranging from old standards to brand new ones (Catskill, Diablo, Doric, Early Marvel, Falstaff, Gustus, Jade Cross, Nautic, and Roodnerf). Want to learn more? Check out the research report that we have just posted online with the rest of our collection of regional research reports.
