New Research Report: High tunnel pepper varieties

In the growing season of 2015, we evaluated several varieties of greenhouse pepper varieties under unheated high tunnel production conditions. This work was done in Durham NH at the Agricultural Experiment Station’s Woodman Farm. We evaluated several yellow (Bentley, Early Sunsation, Moonset), orange (Orangela, Orange Blaze, Sympathy), and red colored bells (Felicitas, Sprinter, Karisma, Karma).

In general, we produced very high quality fruit from all varieties in the high tunnel. There were minor differences in yields, but more significant differences in fruit size between varieties. You can read the full report here!
